Hopefully I can finish mine in 4...I'm going to register for my 3rd year tomorrow. I transferred to my current school after my first year, so now i'm a lil behind in terms of hours i need. It's looking like i'll be taking 21 credits fall semester + 9 over the summer to catch up to where i need to be.

Ten years. One year in school, a year off (failed out), two years back but only passed enough classes to accumulate another 1.5 years of credits, three years off, and three years of going part-time to finish.

HATS OFF TO YOU MY MAN!!!

Not a lot of people don't have what you've got, courage and patience. you don't easily give up! Keep up the good work and GOODLUCK!!!

5 years, maybe longer.... switched majors once and decided on a minor this year but i want to switch to engineering or business now and that would require me to start all over again.. but i may just finish this one up first.

Well I graduated HS in 1992 and am still working on my 4 year degree. I was a good student for about 2 years, then started "partying", was a half-assed student for another 2, stopped going completely and started working for 4 years and just recently went back when I can be serious about it.

Before you ask, yes I do wish I had completed my degree before now. I would not be willing to sacrifice the amount of learning and growing up I did during my "wasted" years. I have made friends that I would kill or die for, met my fiancee, have a stable job that is allowing me to pay for school, and picked up quite a bit of real world learning/experience. 🙂

Edit: If I hadn't changed majors when I recently restarted school, I could be finished by the end of this summer term. I decided Political Science wasn't for me and changed to MIS.
