How long can you run 3DMark before it crashes?

This summer heat is making my system unstable...
After an hour or so 3DMark will crap out and freeze up on me. I'm running a V2 and a 450a. Any help?

Sears is having a special on Air Conditioners. j/k :)

PC Power & Cooling sells a supercharger that attaches to the back of your power supply from the outside of the case. It typically reduces the temp inside about 10-15 degrees F.

They are quite pricey, but do the job: http://store.yahoo.com/upsource/460623.html

I personally found 3dmark not to be a good torture test. It will close on me even if the cpu wasn't overclocked. I personally prefer to loop q3 instead, or seti@home.

My k7 500@700 ans GTS at 235/385 will run it till I turn it off. Never had stability problems after I traded in my K7M to a K7V.

I had a friend download 3dMark2000 yesterday, as he is using the exact same system I am except he still has his voodoo 3 installed....said it locks up EVERY single time at the very end of the benchmark subroutine.....never completes the demo no matter how much he customizes it...

...as for system cooling, I have two FC-2000 exhaust blowers in my case, which sit in any PCI/ISA slot, but don't actually draw use the slot for power (hooks directly to the p/s)...they seem to work grrrrreeeaattt @ 42CFM's or whatever the air flow is measured in=)

I won't make this a link, but just searched egay for them and found a few...check it out for a pic...

I actually left it running for six hours this morning, on my voodoo 3 and 500e@700. No problems...(Win 98)

That is rediculously expensive for a 90cfm fan. I have two 100 CFM fans in my computer and they cost me $10 CAD each :p
