You may disagree, but I don't believe it's the thoughts that get you in trouble - it's the actions. Going out of your way to get pron, spending too much time feeding the desire, etc.

Wasn't there a line about he who looks upon a woman wantingly has already comitted it in his mind? I can't remember exactly how it goes. Might have been more related to adultery.
yup, Matthew 5:28.
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

It's difficult, I know. Especially living in a culture with sexual images, not to mention porn, everywhere. And it's not getting any easier. What you should do is everytime you see a hot girl, or have any type of sexual thought, just remember where those feelings and desires are coming from: your flesh. Try recalling verses that will help you keep focused on God like: "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you" (1 Corinthians 3:16) or, "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world" (1 John 2:16) or, Proverbs 5. Lust itself isn't sin, but it does lead to sin, so keep it from yourself. Also, it is very important to pray frequently, to ask God to help you not to give in to temptation, and to guard your heart. You cannot do it on your own, and you will fail if you try to rely on yourself, and end up backsliding. I speak from experience.

Don't you believe in an all forgiving god? Just get with a chick, then go confess.
Rinse, wash, and repeat..

omg, i'm sorry, I'm glad you found yourself in religion, but honestly, your post just made me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

I'm not trying to be hateful, I just have a huuuge problem with religion in general.

Gave me a laugh though....hahaha, whenever I feel horny I'll revert to the bible!!

Let me give you a little inside information about God. God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does He do, I swear for His own amusement, his own private, cosmic gag reel, He sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow. Ahaha. And while you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' His sick, fvckin' ass off. He's a tight-ass. He's a sadist. He's an absentee landlord. Worship that? Never.

The build up of sexual tension is so strong, that to relieve it is like a natural process just like using the bathroom or something. I think God intended us to all have wives at age 16 or so..so we wouldnt have theese problems in our later years.

I don't even bother trying *not* to lust. Why should I? If she's hot enough to lust after, I lust away, happily and proudly. Often, my GF, who's Bi, also sits there and lusts.

At least, until the movie's over, then it's horizontal mambo time :)

I usually feel my blood rushing, heart racing faster and will approach...is this wrong? because I couldnt possibly imagine finding a female any other way.

That's human nature, buddy. If God is pissed about it he needs to get a grip, because it's HIS fault, he designed the system. If it doesn't operate the way he wants, that's HIS failure.

All I have to say is living that type of life just leads to self destruction, and I know that you can't be truly happy without Christ in your life. Looking at porn and masturbation isn't harmless- it's an addiction, and as with all addictions, you will find yourself desiring even more graphic pornography and thinking depraved thoughts more often. It is part of human nature- and human nature is evil.

this is true...you can have alot of very dirty thoughts..that you never act upon

True. They don't even have to be *dirty*, like when some a-hole on the freeway cuts you off and you entertain the idea of catching him and running his ass off the road. Or when you see those kids getting out of school and you just want to hit the gas and mow them down. Just don't act on it :)

You, my good sir, are quite mistaken.
