How long can you hold your breath?

over 3 minutes. I find I can do better underwater.

And as said saturate your O2 by taking large deep breathes.

when you start to feel like you can't take it anymore expell about 1/4 of your air...that will give you another 20 seconds or more.

repeat until you have no more air left.

that feeling of your lungs is the CO2 building up, expelling it allows you to hold longer.

Yeah, saturates the blood with oxygen. I just tried it and got 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

How long should you hyperventilate for, before doing this?

For about 10 or 15 seconds.
