If politics get in the way of your personal relationships, you may want to re-evaluate your priorities.

My ex voted yes on prop 8 (She is californian by birth, lives in Canada), and we have yet to talk since that argument /shrug

I'm not smug about Obama winning
I am surrounded by smug Obama fans. It kind of mirrors this forum. I have been called a racist when I announced my choice, and this is not from some young person either, it was from a tenured professor at the campus I work at. I am not bitter at my choice losing, I am defensive when attacked by those I work with.

I know how you feel, I felt dirty after the election. I voted third party because I was actaully looking at a TRUE move in a different direction instead of the same old BS that has begun to ruin this great country.

Now a former socialist party member is going to be the commander in chief, great.

I hope this country learns quick and sees that Dems or Repubs aren't going to get crap done for us.

get revenge by reporting her to the authorities, you can only vote in CA if you are a resident of CA. If she lives in Canada she's violating election laws.

It's not the McCainiacs and Obamaphiles that are going to have problems, it the McCainiacs and the Palinists who seem to be having a go at each other.

I really don't see anything being any different from when Bush won the past two elections only with a bit of role reversal...

Personally I know Obama wasn't my choice...next vote I will see who is there and either not vote or vote for the other candidate, easy as that.

I dont know anybody who is a McCainiac. They may have supported him in some form but would hardly get apeshit crazy over him.

Will everybody get along? No, because we are one big unhappy disfunctional family ;)

It isn't nearly as bad in real life as it seems to be here on ATPN. You should try to get out once in a while.
