How long after u register a domain does it work?

I registered a domain last night and am just wondering how long it takes to activate and such... Thanks!

It usually takes 3-5 days to propogate. Depends a lot on your dns servers and such.

I'd say 48 hours, but when I got a new one last month, it took under 24 hours for me to see it work... prob not true worldwide though.

It all depends on location, provider, etc.

Quickest ive had was about 24 hours, the average for me being about 36.

Depends on the day its registered and when worldwide dns servers update etc, im sure it can be quicker than 24 hours but you would be lucky to time your registration that well.

I've seen as few as 12 hours, as much as 72.
