i want to take back an MS Wireless Desktop Elite, in exchange for store credit. I've had this set for about 3 weeks. do you think BB will take it back for store credit indeed?

the UPC is still intact to the bottom of this (crappy) keyboard, so i can get a refund. But I assume since i do not have the original box, that i'll have to pay a 15% restocking fee?

I think you're really headed overboard here. Calm down and call the store in the morning....

Do you have DNA evidence or have at least 3 eyewitnesses that can pass a polygraph that saw you purchase it there?

Else it depends on how big of a jerk the CS manager is...but at best case scenario you are out 15%

Friend took back a perfectly good Radeon 9800 Pro and claimed he bought it two weeks before and lost the receipt, and it didn't work in his computer. The real story was that he bought the thing a year and a half before, and wanted to screw Best Buy out of $300. They actually bit this one, and he ended up just 'upgrading' to a GeForce 6800 GT. Let's just say, I was pissed at him when I found out he did this.
