Really? Hmmm...are there more AA settings on my 9600XT card? Mine was more than playable at that res, but it wasn't "smooth", which is what I like for FPS games.

I HATE all of you with almost the same rig as me, and you get 40fps with 4xAA and 16xAF. I have:

AthlonXP 1700+
1024MB PC2700
ATi 9700 Pro
40 gig Maxtor DM8+

I play at 1024x768 everything normal except physics which is at low (It helped some, but not very much) and I get 30 fps and under. It's alway's lagging, so it can't be over 31fps. Like I said, if ANY of you have even the slightest idea of what's wrong with my system, please tell me!

Seems to work fine with the defaults. Upped it to 1024 x 768.

Meh, its playable. I've got a lowly stock XP 1700+ on a K7S5A, 512MB, 8500LE 128MB, and its playable with the install defaults on. I even bumped up the res to 1024x768. 8500LE is overclocked to 295/300 core/mem.
