Christ, turn down the AA/AF! Video card is the primary limiting factor on that, & since you're already running a 9800 Pro there isn't much room to upgrade.

I'm running a GF4 Ti4200, runs great at 1024x768x32. No AA or AF of course.

Keep in mind that the demo uses lower resolution textures than the final will have, so when you crank the eye candy in the shipping version it will hit your system a lot harder.

yeah, i know, and this isn't exactly an rpg or something where i really notice the jaggies. i'll still overclock some more once i take the system apart and apply some arctic silver. i dont think this arctic alumina is working as well.

This is a very important thing to note. Don't worry too much about the eye candy yet. Netcode, physics, weapon balance and gameplay are the priorities. The game will look very very nice with Holy Sh1t settings and will tolerate quite a bit of dumbing down for older systems.

That said, it's fine on a 3.2Ghz P4/Abit IS7-E/1Gb PC3200/Sapphire 9700 Pro system, but if it wasn't, Epic's developers would all need to be shot.

1024x768, everything at max...runs great even with 16 bots in the game (the bots took much more of a performance hit in UT2003)

Athlon 2400, 1.25GB, Radeon 9800 Pro

Suppose I could run at a higher resolution but not much of a need.

P4 2.53GHz, 512MB DDR, GF4 Ti4200.

Max everything at 1024x768, doing 50 fps constant.

P4 3.06, 1gb RAM, Radeon8500, seems a bit sluggish. May have to turn resolution down. It's at 1024x768 right now.

P4 overclocked to 3.1Ghz, 512MB RAM, ATI 9600XT (with built in overclocking enabled)...Smooovvv

Got all the goodies turned on, playing online @ 1024x768. 1280x1024 was a little chunky, which is the default res of my LCD monitor.
