I know there was a thread earlier about Phokus mentioning a member's daughter after they brought her up, but in this instance, was it deserved? I know Dave can be a troll sometimes, but how could this not be considered "over the line"?

Of course, there's also the fact that this took place weeks ago... so if the line were drawn here it would be arbitrary at best. But arbitrary is always on the menu, so... /lawnchair.

It's not over the line because dmcowen674 should have been banned many, many years ago (and stayed that way), and so he should have never been around to start with the blather he did in that thread. Since that exception continues to be made, it seems fair that nobody should have to feign politeness when presented with his idiocy.

The difference is that you used your daughter to insult Phockus and he returned the favor by using her to insult you back and that got your panties in a wad. I didn't see Dave use his wife to insult Bober.
