How is this external drive?

anybody own one of these?

seems cheap, especially since i happen to see one at walmart yesterday for $180...

looking for something just to clone my OS now, or backup my media?(would it be possible to do both on the same drive?)

or possibly any other recommendations?

If you're talking about the FreeAgent line of external drives, then yes, $50 for a 160gb external drive is a solid deal.

Your link is broken, but if its this one that Fry's has had on sale off and on for a month - the old style shaped like a rounded A-frame on the sides -, then yeah its a pretty good deal.
$50 for 160GB is pretty good. It doesn't have the greatest speed (2MB buffer) and only offers USB but it should do for basic backup and storage.
