Hi

I am going to upgrade my P-IV PC and have decided to go for the following products. I will be using my old bijli cabinet, 42" Plasma TV as monitor, key board and mouse. I will be using this PC for casual gaming but would love to play crysis game which i hv heard is a good game and other than that i will be using it for seeing movies and using MS Office.

As I will be overclocking my PC, i need to know if the following are good in overclocking:

Processor : AMD AthlonII X2 260 ~ Rs.3000/-
MOBO : Gigabyte 880GMA-UD2H(Sata 3 + USB3) ~ Rs.4700/-
RAM : Kingston DDR3 1333MHz ~ Rs.1250/-
500 GB HDD : Seagate 500GB 7200.12 ~ Rs.1700/-
DVD writer : Sony OEM ~ Rs.900/-
PSU: Gigabyte 460W(400w) ~ Rs.1800/-

Regards

Should be pretty good, but if you keep PCs for that long, go ahead and invest the extra few bucks for a Athlon X4, it's not much more $$. 1TB hard drives are also only about $10-$15 more at most than a 500GB drive. Because of platter density, even WD Green 1TB drives (5400RPM) compare very well in performance to 500GB 7200RPM drives.

Otherwise, looks pretty good.

I'm not sure on the Rupee to $ conversion, but the % difference should be minor.

Hi

I am planning to buy a new Desktop PC as follows:

AMD Athlon II X2 260 or AMD II X3 – 440
Gigabyte 880GMA-UD2H(Sata 3 + USB3)
Corsair 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM (as it has 10 yrs warranty)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB
LG 22x DVD Writer
FSP SAGAII 500w
500 GB HDD

Pls tell me out of AMD Athlon II X2 250 and AMD II X3 – 440 which will overclock better on stock and which will be eazy to unlock ?
