How is this card?

would the all in wonder 9800 be better?

For games the 9800 would be better but is the system the card going into AGP or PCIe?

Horrible for games....comparable to 6200TC...maybe slightly higher performing!! Really good for multimedia though

Check out the memory interface - 128-bit? That's pathetic. You're better off going to the refurb section and grabbing a Radeon 9800 Pro for a little over a hundred bucks, which sports a 256-bit memory interface. But if you're going PCI-E, get something that has a 256-bit memory interface.

All in all, x600 sucks, the core clock and memory clock aren't even that great compared to other cards at it's price.

well even the 6600GT is a 128Bit so does that make it a pathetic card...infact it whips the 9800Pro's a$$ pretty bad even though the latter has a 256Bit memory interface....
however getting a 9800Pro for that price would be a much better option unless u really want the multimedia options

why not get a 6600gt for $170 and a pci tv tuner/multimedia casd for $50?

you dont lose multimedia functions when yopu upgrade, quality will be higher and you dont need to lim,it yourself to aiw cards.

it is 8-10% faser usually. also supports sm3 so you can play AOE3 in all it's glory. (6600gt is the recommeded card from the lead developer to use high settings and resolutions)

Yeah, I would definitely get a seperate TV Tuner. And get either a 9800 Pro or a 6600GT, whichever, but the 6600GT is a bit faster.
