How fast and reliable is the Mobile Celeron 1.6 - 1.8ghz, with the L2 128k cache.

Is it worth it or sucks big time?

I cannot find a review so i need help for you guys, thnks.

There was a thread about it somwhere here and I beleive Toms hardware reviewed it also.

Basically avoid at all cost unless it's going to be a giveaway to Salvation Army.

According to PC magazine, this batch of celerons even had a tough time hanging with the P3 based celerons.

The p4 celerons aren't performance processors, they're, uhh, "value segment" processors, whatever that means.

And it really depends on the purposes of the machine. If it's word processing, internet, & email, then one would do the job just fine. I'm confident that they're just as reliable as anything else, wouldn't even consider that as a factor.

Not a good choice for gamers, power users, or anybody who hates their machine to bog down under heavy multi-tasking....
