How is The Last Samurai playing in Japan?

I read in an article that briefly mentioned that some Japanese were annoyed with their portrayal.
That is pretty much expected with any movie that attempts to portray an entire culture.

Wow, I would love to read the article. Certainly they were not stereotyped as you had a huge range of characters, each different. See if you can find the link to that article please.
