Hi,

I'm getting rid of my old Sony CDRW, half broken Pioneer DVD drive, and USR 56K modem for newer drives/modem. I don't have a huge amount of money, only $300. How would you rate the following products?

DVD:
Aopen 12X DVD
Samsung 12X DVD
Hitachi 12X dvd

CDRW
Ricoh 8x8x32x
Yamaha8x8x32x

Modem
V.92 Zoom 56K PCI Modem (I just want it because the faster upload could be of good use)

lol, you are having the same exact configuration as me. Why are you getting rid of it?

I wouldnt recoomend the AOpen DVD Drive, i have an AOpen52x CR-ROM drive and it's as loud as all hell. Not im not sure if they corrected it or not for the DVD version, ubt it's something to look out for.
