I was just wondering how the E1200 was. It's pretty cheap. I figure I could just buy the E1200 and a IP35-E and hold off till better processors drop in price, but I'm not sure. The other option for me is to buy a E2180 and a good, cheap open-box motherboard on newegg.
Apparently the E1200 can hit 3.2ghz, and the E1600 can hit 3.6ghz. Not bad I'd say.
I could get an E1200 and a Gigabyte P35 DS3L for $150, or I could get an open box motherboard and just spend $120-ish.
