How is NVIDIA System Utility?

I'm looking at it on nVidia's site and it seems to be cool. Has temperature readings, as well as voltage and other tweaking options. I saw one of my friends install it and it said before he opened it "Beware that this program may cause hardware to run out of spec., voiding warrenties and possibly causing heat issues". I'm wondering about that, does it tweak things by itself, or does it just give you the option to? I'm guessing it just gives you the option, but i wanna make sure before i try it on my $1300 computer.

Thanks!

It's a fine program, but I didn't find it to be all that useful very often. It doesn't tweak anything unless you want it to. I don't remember that it even had any tweaks, except that you could change your current FSB and memory clock in 1mhz increments through windows.

wait, now i'm done dling it (started before and figured i could cancel it) and the temps say 60 C cpu and 50 C system, while Smartguardian (came with mobo) says 56 C cpu and 32 C system.

I think NSU is a little off here...
