My Gigabyte GTX 660 WindForce II OC is overclocked to 1098MHz GPU Boost Clock and 1502MHz Memory Clock.
Even though my GPU Boost Clock is set to 1098MHz, MSI Afterburner/GPU-Z shows that it reached a max of 1150MHz. Why is that?

Here is my Unigine v4.0 Benchmark info:

And Here is my MSI AfterBurner info:

Thanks.

Ok, and what about the first question?

The “Boost Clock” is the average clock frequency the GPU will run under load in many typical non-TDP apps that require less GPU power consumption. On average, the typical Boost Clock provided by GPU Boost in GeForce GTX 680 is 1058MHz, an improvement of just over 5%. The Boost Clock is a typical clock level achieved running a typical game in a typical environment

In other words, that is the average boost clock for your card. Be happy it is boosting beyond that average.

USe GPU-z. It should show you the base clock, the over clock and the max boost for both. I have never seen a card boost higher than the number GPUz gives. Also if you have power to spare crank the power limit up to max. It does not add voltage just allows the GPU to consume more power if it needs it. Your score might improve.

The heven thread is dead, too many ways to cheat and the person keeping up with scores no longer updates. Use the Valley thread. It is more accurate and is occasionally updated. Should give you a idea of what kind of performance your getting out of the 660.

I just noticed your resolution. You need to run at 1080P to compare to the scores posted in the bench thread
