i was recommended by AT got this PSU in Fall of 2005.

its been in use pretty much 24/7 since then with a x1900xt and AMD 4800+. and now with the system in my signature

one thing to note is that its located on the bottom of my case, sucking up dust from my carpet for at least 6 months. i've cleaned it out recently but that was only with compressed air.

i've heard of capacitor aging, how does that come into affect a 2 year old PSU?

FSP is a good brand.
I think the only thinf JohnnyGURU says is over time under a heavy load they seem to go out of spec!

So I imagine yours is just fine!

I don`t see you overloading your PSU!!

Peace!!

Its impossible to gage the effect of age on the capacitors without putting the unit threw a thorough review like what JonnyGURU does too all PSU's being reviewed there. Now unless the PSU has been fully loaded 24/7 for the last 2 years the affect should be negligible.

Don't worry about a capacitor that is 2 years old.
Thats really nothing in the life of a capacitor.
