How is it pronouced?

There's a bunch of ways, if you count all the different accents (Spanish, Russian etc) compared to other names. TOE-MAS ("MAS" pronounced as in the Spanish word for "more") is fairly common.

I'm confused.

Where in the UK do they pronounce it "Tome-as"?

I was born in the UK and currently live in London and have never heard anyone pronounce Thomas as "Tome-as".

It's Thom-ass

Generally I consider the English way to be right since it came first.
