Serious question... Do other animals kill and maim for pleasure? I know murder has been noted, but I don't know that it was for pleasure purposes.

Dolphins, Orcas, Chimpanzees, probably other high-level primates and marine mammals.

Chimps, our closest relatives, rape, murder, go to war, and pack hunt rivals.

Chimps attack your face, your hands and feet, and your genitals.

I feel very sorry for that kid in South Africa.

Richard Dawkins proved in his book "The Selfish Gene" that humans are selfish creatures.

I'm always nice to people, but I've come to the conclusion that F*k most people and double down on the people who love you. Most people are SELFISH. They don't care about me, you, etc. And, why should they? So, I double down on the people who do love me.

Every time I read one of these stories I shudder in disgust, then go find my rescue kitty and pup and give them hugs and tell them I'd never let anything bad happen to them. They are safe here for life.
