is it noisy??? im thinking about getting it with the stock fan that comes with it.. Im using A Volcano II right now and i get up to 60 C while playing quake or CS! i want to use the globalwin which is more than 1000 rpms higher than volcano 2 but im not using any more cooling devises or fans, and i am concerned about noise as well..

I'm using it with a thermaltake fan (same as the one on your VolcanoII), the stock delta is way too loud. Nice solid copper heatsink though, also quite heavy and I wasn't impressed with the clip, you may want to consider a shim with this one. I'm at 51-53 while gaming and the room has no air conditoning and it's hot in here, I'm sweating as I type.

p.s when I say it's loud with a delta, I mean it was unbearable, even with 6mm cork throughout the entire case. Here's some pics of the drastic measures I took to quite it down and I still found it unbearable.

ah, i see so you took off the metal plating that was on the front of it and replace it with the stock fan that came with the volcano II fan. i think i might try that, and thanks for the pix, what kinda fans you got on that case anyways? :)

I have the CAK38 and I don't think it is all that noisy. I had a Super Orb before it and they both seem to make the same amount of noise.

Maybe i'm going deaf or something.
