How is generic ink from megatoners.com?

Holly crap. that place is ludicrously cheap. Too bad they don't have ink for my Lexmark 3200 - I may just have to get a different printer.

I picked up 3 cartridges for my 480, two black and one color. The black has lasted longer then the cartridge it shipped with (although I have this feeling they shipped it half full or something). I paid less then $15 shipped for all three. I haven't needed the color cartridge yet.

Edit: Some manufactures say it voids the warranty on the printer, but the way I see it, I paid $20 for this printer after rebates. I'll just replace it if using aftermarket ink breaks it. I'd have more then $20 in a color replacement cartridge from epson.

THe Black ink is fine, I've bought quite a few cartridges for an Epson Photo 700 printer...the color cartridges aren't what you're looking for if you're going to print pictures, but if you were, why would you want to use super cheap ink...

I bought a load of black and color a while ago from megatoners for my Epson 880 & 860, at least I believe those are the model numbers.


The black works ok, but my nozzles need to be cleaned 10 times more often than with genuine Epson ink.

Color - terrible. Prints look like something from Andy Warhole (no disrespect to AW).

I EMailed them a couple of times and never got the courtesy of a response.

I'll never buy from them again!

I bought 3 blacks and 3 colors from megatoners and the blacks are perfectly fine, I don't print many photos in color either so I can't comment on the quality. But for the price, it's an excellent site.
