How is DOD:Source

1Mbit connection just isn't enough, i'm now waiting anxiously for the game, at 58%. Is it good?

It's the average white healthcare. What it means is that most blacks are poor and since you have and incredibly insane system of health loads of people, primarily black, die every year. For no reason.

Anyhow, I love the game! It was my first time playing any DoD of any kind, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Great fun for me, and it looks pretty damn nice.

I liked it, pretty much what I expected. It was rough getting in a game right as it was unlocked, because the few servers that were up were full, and laggy. But it calmed down later in the night, good game... Wish they would've made TFC:Source instead though. 🙁

Yeah, doubt they will make it though... and I'm not expecting TF2 anytime soon.

But, Fortress Forever on the other hand... I really have high expectations for that mod, and I hope it will revive the TFC community.

I can't enjoy this game after playing BF2. It pales in comparison. BTW, what's up with Valve not offering demos for their games like everyone else does? Irks me that I ust wasted 20 bucks on this game.

Its a great game.. graphics IMO blow away COD2... and DoD:S is running off an older engine.. Here are some pictures from when I was playing a few minutes ago.. Check that out. Note I am running the game on the below specs so it will give you an idea of what you can do.

It was free with HL2 silver. I didn't think anyone wouild buy this alone, especially if you are not a DoD die hard fan.

Got it with silver. Never played the original DoD, but loving this one.
BF2 is in the mail, so I can't compare, but I like this more than battlefront.

can't tell framerates. CL showfps 1/0 isn't working.

I only gave it a 7 because they removed the pistol from the rifle classes except the snipers. That really dissapointed me.

I played it for about 20 minutes and it was quite fun... the recoil of the guns takes some getting used to, but it's nice because hopefully it'll dissaude idiots from spraying bullets all over instead of working together with at least some strategy. It's also great that you have to be prone or facing something like waist high to deploy the machine gun.

Graphics are nice, HDR looks good but it's kind of bright in some spots.

Guess my only complaint so far is the lack of a pistol for the classes (except the machine gunner, I think)... but that's not really a big deal.

Bottom line, it was worth the wait, glad I bought the Silver package.
