How is Dish Network compared to DirecTV?

I'm on Directv, have been for a couple years now and I'm very happy with it. I pay $48/mo but I have HBO, Discovery/Science channels package, two recievers and local channels included in that price. I have also been getting NFL Sunday ticket every year and I just love that! For me I wouldn't even consider Dish because Directv has that NFL package (Dish didn't offer anything like that at the time-I don't know if that is still the case though). Also, I had to have Speed Channel. That was a must.

Signal strength is excellent except during heavy rain storms and then it can be a bit spotty at times. It hardly ever rains here though so that is another non-issue for me. I'm sure Dish would suffer the same problem.
