How is Arizona compared to Texas

Might be moving to Arizona. All I know is that it is hot and dry. I have lived in Texas for a long time. How does it compare?

Just as flat, just as dry, just as dusty. The only difference is that Arizona residents are not as obnoxious as Texas residents about believing that dry, flat and dusty is paradise.

i havent been to texas but i love AZ. its geography is quite diverse from north to south so "dry, flat and dusty" doesnt describe it well. I expected it to be flat as I have never been there before, but I was surprised.

AZ is awesome, Phoenix is hot and dry, it gets up to 120+ in the summer (but hey its a dry heat haha) , i like it though, you can go to flagstaff and it looks like maine.

like someone else said 6 hours to vegas and a lil longer to CA.

Arizona has its nice parts, just like Texas, but there are a lot of boring, dry, hot and dusty places too.

The one thing that Texas has over Arizona is fashion sense. The way people dress in Phoenix seems to be ten years out of date. The shirts that men wear look like thrift store rejects.

texas is more humid than dry.

AZ has the hottest women...its nto ALL hot and dry, there are deserts but there are also forests all around. you can be in 100+ one hour but in 80 in another hour so its not that bad. I live in Tucson currently and they need some work on transportation but all in all its not that bad. I've been to texas and i think its much better here, i think were a lot less humid and a lot more bearable.

Thanks for the information. I currently live in Richmond but I went to elementary, junior high, high school in texas. Lots of computer games parties? I have never heard of them having one in Richmond, that would be cool.

Word. I like Arizona myself. Flagstaff is awesome. Doesn't feel like what youd think Arizona is supposed to be.

I'm lurking in this thread because I'll be re-locating to the Southwest in about six years and I'm curious.

Although, for me it can be anywhere from CA to AZ.

My wife might be getting a job out there and I will be finished with school next year so I am up for moving. We live in Virginia and I am looking forward to going back to the west coast.
