Hey there:). I just bought an Audigy MP3+ and im having a little trouble getting rid of the start-up sound it install's for you. I went into the control panel and disabled the WinXP start-up and shut-down wav's but the Audigy one still plays. I've checked all through the creative file in my programs file and for the life of me cant figure out how to disable it. I've also looked through all the Creative's option menus. Any help would be great.

Are you talking about the EAX sound? I would guess so since it's the only one I got when I installed it. Go to "Start" ,"Programs" , "Creative" , Creative Audigy", and click on creative EAX. It will pop up a box on the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click the "page" (looks like a piece of paper with writing" icon, and it will change to a box that say "Load on Startup". Uncheck that box, and there you go. If that doesn't work for you go to "Start" , "Run". In the box type "msconfig" On the startup tab there will be all the programs that run upon startup. Uncheck the box that should say EAX something or other. ( I don't have it on mine anymore, sorry) You can double-check to see if it's it by looking at the directory it's in. Hope that helps.
