Classic quote:
A first-year teacher at Salina South High School has been suspended following a classroom experiment Monday in which the same needle was used to prick the fingers of numerous students, raising concerns of transmitting blood-borne diseases.
"We noticed she wasn't changing the needle, so we
didn't go up to the center table," said junior Michael Weis, a student in Terri Nicholson's anatomy and physiology class. He was among several students who refused to have their fingers pricked.
Classic quote:
"There were a few people saying they didn't think it was right," Weis said. "But she said she wasn't poking hard enough to worry about."
