Neostream.com, such an awesome website.

Ok, does anybody know how this guy made this website? Seriously, it is soo awesome. Of course, a given is that the website was made with Flash. But the internals of the site, where the animation of the main character flies, jumps, etc..., how did this guy create it? What program do you think he used?

I would very much appreciate your feedbacks and thoughts because i'd like to start creating something like this, but i first need to know what program and etc. he used.

Maya, Ligtwave, or 3D Studio max for the 3D stuff, probably did the 2D vector stuff right in Flash, and the 2D bitmap stuff in photoshop.

It probably could all be done in 2D apps, but you're probably right.

It COULD all be done in a hex editor, but chances are that it wasn't :)

There is a lot of action scripting and a lot of frame by frame animation... that stuff takes a long time to do..... im impressed though cause the filesize is small...

The renderings of the little guy were prob. done in Maya, Ligtwave, or 3D Studio MAX, then theres a lot of seriously good Flash / [ insert other vector art program here ] work as well.

I hate it when a site doesnt let you stop the music.. 99% of the time I will leave before Im done looking at the majority of the site if Im forced to listen to their music!!

Btw, Vector art, as most of that is, is highly compressable.. and doesnt take much space on its own.. its the bitmaps in there that will hog all the space.. and that sound was a very small looping file also..

If i were to buy the source code for that, do i need to buy some insanely expensive crap from macromedia to run it on my site?
