How in the BLEEP do you get screen protectors on without bubbles?

No matter how hard I try or what brand I use, I can't get one on my iPad without at least one or two little bubbles in it. I can't stand it. I can see them when the screen is on and I just can't have that. I've managed ONCE to get a screen protector on bubble free on my old Galaxy Tab 7+.

Any tips/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

You basically have to roll it on a little bit at a time squeezing out the bubbles with a rigid flat object like a credit card as you go, and pulling back to try again if one happens to make it in.

My patented technique;

Take 2 pieces of sticky tape about 40cm long, stick a small square of paper to each end so there's still a good 20cm of 'sticky' exposed. Stick a piece to each end of the back of the protector so one of the pieces of paper butts up to the edge and all the sticky portion is stuck down. Remove the backing of the protector and use the tabs you've stuck on to hold/position it (You've cleaned the screen right?) Once stuck down you can pull it away with the tabs and use small pieces of tape to remove dust (stick it to both the underside of the protector and screen, pulling it away to remove dust) Once you're happy, pull the 2 pieces of tape away from the protector using the 'inner' paper tab, always pulling from the centre of the screen outwards so you don't pull it off the screen!

If it's just air bubbles, for me they seem to go away after a day or two. But the ones that don't go away seem to often be caused by a tiny dust spec. I then learned that if you put this on in a closed bathroom with the hot shower running, that helps get the dust out of the air.

wet a paper towel and squeeze out to the point where it's wet, but not dripping. wipe your screen with the paper towel and you'll see tons of water droplets. apply your screen protector and use a credit card or drivers license to squeeze out the water and clean it up with the paper towel as you are doing it. the water squeezing out will take air and dust with it, leaving a perfectly contacted screen protector.

A fair bit of moisture seems to work for me, like whatever comes in the spray thing that comes with a Zagg. I pull the battery and douse the screen and protector, it dries up fast.

i use the kind you have to wet first. soapy wet. they go on with just tiny little bubbles at most, and once dry you cant even see the protector. theyre one shot- once you peel it off its ruined... but they work excellent for years.

A cure for some small bubbles is to penetrate them with a needle, and then work the air out with the edge of a credit card.
