I couldn't be attracted (other than physically obviously) to a stupid chick. All of my girlfriends have had one thing in common, they have all been smarter than me.

My current partner included.
 
No difference. Intelligence is only small imo. I don't care if she can't do stuff with physics or sciences or anything like that. If she is fun she'll be able to keep a convosation up no problems imo. She'll have other better qualities imo then just being smart.

Side note another smart guy said you don't f0ck personality...

I have a friend who is ridiculously good looking, but the IQ meter isn't pinging anywhere near me. We just can't communicate.

Intelligence can be explained in different ways. Sure I know all the capitals of Europe, and know all about object-oriented programming. Does that make me intelligent? In academic terms yes. However, intelligence can also be applied to social interactions, and being able/willing to have far-reaching discussions. My wife, for example, is not that up on current events, or world capitals for that matter, but she is a whiz at motivating people and organizing large events.

What is your definition of intelligence?

Over the long run intelligence is one of the most important factors.. Sex can only keep you with someone for so long, no matter how hot they may seem.. I'm lucky I have both
 
dating someone smarter than you is the best way to go, all girls i have dated until now have been smarter than me.......right now it's kinda tough with the current one she is not dumb, but she is kinda not smart too...LOL

dating someone smarter than you is a smart move because you can learn so much from them. the current situation is the other way around, but she is very nice. so it's a trade off.

yeah well most of those smart girls turned out to be hella bitches. so having a nice girl is welcomed. she's also hot, so that helps 😉

Intelligence is pretty high on things I find attractive in girls.

Being physically attractive (doesn't have to be stunning but at least if I am attracted to them), Being Kind (this is a must), Being Intelligent (I at least want to be able to talk to her lke a normal human being, extreme intelligence is a very big PLUS in my book)

Morality and Loyalty are key too, but that goes without saying.

It is true. A sweet or nice girl that can hold a conversation but isn't a genious, I would not say no to. Although I would rather prefer an intelligent girl who is sweet and nice, over a girl who isn't as smart.

Intelligence is a very good quality to have though, but I have learned intelligence doens't always mean you can hold a good conversation. Sometimes I will talk to people I know, about certain things (stiff I like thinking about politics/religion/physics/general trivia), and I will notice that it goes completely over their heads, so after some awkward silence I will talk about something else. But it would be a dream of mine to be able to talk to a girl about stuff other than fashion, gossip, or small talk; or even sports (nice sometimes but not all of the time).

I would definitely date a girl smarter than me (Actually I prefer it), but only if she was sweet/kind & loyal. If she was smart, but she didn't respect me, that is a deal breaker IMO. Actually if the girl doesn't respect me, regardless of other things, I would say that I would break up with her if she didn't break up with me first.
 
Intelligence has to be there. She doesn't have to match me, but neither could I stand a woman of below average levels...not in a long-term relationship. Too much of my life is dedicated to learning to have it otherwise. Sex, yes, relationship, no.
 
Intelligence is important. Dumb girls are good just to screw around with, but as far as settling down, she's gotta have brains--I want my kids to be intelligent, not dumb.

it's more like realworld smart, and general knowledgeness to get around life things...
too much street eats away at some femininity which is sexy..., so that's not as good if u are into femininity from a woman.

it's like whether she can 'keep up' = sexy or is consistently 'too slow'... is not sexy.


however a slow female can still be 'useful' to a male in some circles.

a 'slow' male is still 'usefel' to females in fewer circles, i believe in comparison.
 
I prefer being with people because I enjoy their total package of traits, somehow using people, be it for sex, money, status or whatever is a turnoff to me. There are a lot of ways of being "smart" in this life, being able to absorb the information dispensed from books is just one of em.
 
my girlfriend is only average, maybe slightly above average. but shes beautiful and really easy to get along with, so i'm pleased.

Being "easy to get along with" is a skill of the highest order and sadly is one that's rapidly vanishing in this "me, me, me" culture.
