If you're not overclocking the XP1800, stick with the CAS 2 PC2100... you won't see any benefit from PC2700 with an XP1800... but you WILL see the benefit from using CAS 2 RAM vs. CAS 2.5 If you're overclocking, use the memory that corresponds to the FSB you can run... PC2100 = 133 Mhz, PC2700 = 166 Mhz, PC3200 = 200 Mhz.
*EDIT* If you intend to play games, you'll be better off with slower, but more RAM than faster but not as much RAM. You'll want at least 512 MB for gaming.
