How important is a guy's car to a girl?

I think overall, just that it isn't a junker.

Not rusted all over, have ac/heat with no puke/piss marks or smell and the girl shoulnd't mind too much.

I drive a very nice car. I also drive a beater.

I almost always pick up dates in my beater...quick way to read out the worthless from the worthy.

There is some formula, Shallowness over financial background, multiplied by lack of maturity.

When I first met my bf he rode a bike, now he has a rusty Civic. Doesn't make any difference to me!

You can pick up a lot of ass driving down the right street in a Modena Spyder.

i've dated guys that don't drive and guys that do.

life is better when he has a car.. not any kind of special car or anything but just something that he can drive around in because driving your bf around is THE WORST.

if a girl is ugly or has low self esteem, then she won't mind as long as she feels accepted by uoi

Let's just say that I know plenty of people who drive crap and have the hottest wives/girlfriends and vice versa. With that being said... could you possibly miss out on a certain girl because of a car? Absolutely. However, would you really want to date that girl if you knew beforehand that the ultimate decision would be based on your ride?

I've got a really nice car right now but to me its just a car. I'm actually getting rid of it in about 6 months when my Versa gets here. I would rather have extra cash to DO things than spend it all on some object that has a primary objective of going from A ---> B.

The women worth being with don't care about your car. It astounds me how many of you think that money will get you a good woman.

Don't you drive an M3? I'm willing to guess that 90+% of women don't know the difference between a 323, 325, 328, 330 or M3. Hell, I don't think most men even know the difference.

If the above is true I conclude that driving the beater is moot given the relative ubiquity of the 3-series.

I can't believe your comparison is between guys that have cars and those who don't. How old are you? What guy (or girl) grown person doesn't have a car nowadays? I assume you don't live in SF or NY where it's actually a con to have a car.

How a guy treats his car is far more important than what kind of car he drives.

I've got a G35 too and yah chicks notice it when you go by. But that's the thing, how many times do you meet someone after they've seen your car? Typically you meet them THEN they see the car.

true... true... nevertheless... its still nice especially after you meet up with a girl in the club/bar (granted i can drive and am not sloshed, in that case cabbie ftw) and u offer them a ride back to their place, its like the icing on the cake...

Well, it certainly gives them a glimpse into the size of your bank account....... which could be a good or bad thing. But anyway, if a women is really concerned about how much money you're making/what car you drive, better idea to forget about her anyway.

When i first met my bf he was driving a hand-me-down beat up minivan. Now he drives a slightly better Ford Contour. I actually miss the minivan sometimes...it was so big and comfy to take a nap in.
