How illegal would it be to find someone with AIDS to infect a needle?

And put it in my side mirrors on my car? Over the last few days about 15 or so cars (including a friend of mine) had their side mirrors stolen. I'd like to be proactive and put infected needles around mine.

What kind of issue with law enforcement might come up if I gave someone AIDS on purpose?

It is never illegal to draw your own blood, amdhunter.

Deliberately infecting others with the aids is, though. Very.

Assault with a deadly weapon for starters, probably much worse, maybe up to premeditated murder. There are laws against setting deadly traps up, even in your own home.

There are some lawyers around here who can inform you better than me though.

Are you sure about this, or are you HIV positive?

They deserve it. They are screwing up some very nice cars in the process. It's funny because there is a windshield repair place a few blocks from me that has people lined up lately. I know those fuckers are the ones stealing them.

My friend is lucky since his glass just pops off. It's easy to replace. The only problem it's heated also. They are even stealing them from junky looking cars.

Attempted murder for a start. - one charge per needle
Murder 2 if they die as a result.

Post of this type can also be considered as you no longer trying for a positive attitude here at AT

Excellent chance that such a post could be reported to NYPD as a precaution.

It's definitely a felony to infect someone with your needle dick, so bringing a dangerous weapon into the matter compounds things.

Yeah. "Man traps" like what you describe are extremely illegal. A hypothetical person creating such a trap would have an insane amount of tort liability.

A much safer and legal way is to set up a wifi IP camera inside the car or nearby to catch the person.

Or use tape to gather finger prints near the side mirror area to give it to the cops to run in their systems to see if it pulls up any scumbags. If there are the same finger prints on your car and your neighbor's car - its pretty likely that is the person stealing them, too

kinda off topic.....but aids virus don't survive very long inside a needle...20 minute at max! just to you know

lol, there was a needle in the street where I walked my dog for weeks. Every time I passed it - I felt a magnetic pull towards it, like I was going to fall on it or something.

Terrified the hell out of me.

You may want to find a safe house and lay low for a while, you're probably (going to be) wanted for murder

The problem with a camera is battery drain, and it would be more likely to be broken into to steal the camera.

Lots of break in's lately in my neighborhood. I can go outside right now and find 2 cars without side mirrors or a bunch of glass on the floor from broken windows. :\

I remember back in the day there were guys who would ground positive electricity or something to the car's chassis whenever the alarm was engaged.

I wonder how they got away with it. This was early 1990's though.

This is why I hate heights. Not because they scare me so much as I scare myself i'm just gonna jump, just for grins. I'm not suicidal at all, but it's like cooommmeeee tooooo meeee, says the cliff edge.
