i cant find the Philips rebate for the 100pk cdr's ...from what i read from the "obese"wallet forums is that the rebate is on the spindle itself, if you're lucky that is. can anyone else prove otherwise?

i just got back from my local staples to pick up the 100pk Philips...but the Staples rebate (printed out at the counter) and the Philips rebate (on the spindle) both require the ORIGINAL UPC...luckily i had a 10 off 40 coupon...so $10 for a 100pk spindle isnt that bad--10 cents a pop 🙂

Staples will accept a copy of the UPC. So send the original UPC to Philips and copy of UPC to Staples.. you should be fine.

not worth the hassle. id rather just buy something else not as cheap but without having to mail a bunch of crap.

though the Staples rebate does say send in the ORIGINAL UPC, i've got nothing to lose, so i might as well try

I don't much of a problem with getting rebates. I keep a copy of everything and use Rebate!2.0 to keep track of them. A program called CDtree CD_Tree is great to keep track of what's on the cd's.

How do you guys keep track of what's on your CD-Rs if you buy large quantities in spindles?

uhh.. you take a sharpie to the top of it and write whats on the CD...

You need that much or more if you are burning Japanese Anime. There is litterally enough anime to fill like 2000 discs.

I have about 2500 right now, and I'm not even burning the new stuff. Have about 300 unwatched gigs of new anime that is coming out this year. There is enough anime for 1,000,000 discs.

you are truly insane! where do you get this stuff, kazaa and other p2p networks or what??

ever heard of IRC or newsgroups? you should try them

rebates are a big scam! I've only recieved 2 out of thirty plus i've mailed off! Companies always say that they didn't recieve your info.

priority mail with confirmation or something like that. Something with tracking
