Just watched the first ep last night. Did I miss something or did they never really say what wedding they were at?

The scene where marshall leaves his office like going through a basketball game intro line was hilarious. But nothing beats the segment at the end where the girls started kissing. Ted's face followed by barney filming was toooo funny.

Nope they didnt say whos wedding it was. Obvisouly not Ted's since he was best man. Probably Barney's would be my guess. But that is the way the show works. Leaves you guessing all the time.

I actually thought the two girls were getting married, but the chance of that happening in a church...

Doesn't anybody else think that Robin has gotten far less hot and Lily has gotten WAY hotter? This show still cracks me up. One of my favorites for sure. Marshall and Barney are hilarious.

Well last episode...yeah. I mean I was shocked to see Robin dressed like that for most of the episode. But over the years I've always thought that Lilly and Robin are equally hot.

How would you make a mathematical function, or group of functions, that showed Lilly's hotness increasing exponentially as Robin's decreased linearly?

I am seriously trying to figure this out.

robin(x) = -x
lilly(y) = y^x

That would be:

Lily's hotness (Robin's hotness) = 1/(Robin's hotness)

wouldn't you want to show it vs time?

Robin(t) = hotness_sub_0 - hotness * t
Lilly(t) = hotness_sub_0 + hotness^t

Robin in the white sundress was not hot.

Ya, not at all. Her chest was very flat and sunken. My guess is she was pregnant and had a kid sometime last year and now is all....shall we say "deflated". Lily also had a child around the same time but somehow she remained even larger than before.

Indeed...this is more along the lines I was looking for. Even did a few seconds worth of work in Excel to try to get this figured out!

And I would say that Lilly's hotness increasing expotentially is appropriate, just as Robin's hotness decreasing linearly is appropriate. Lilly was cute in the first few seasons...a little reserved. And pretty much as the series developed she just kept getting better! Even when she was prego, she looked pretty good! Robin, on the other hand, was probably at some of her best "looks" in season 1, and it slowly degraded as the show went on.

I think Lily's are fake now. But that is just my opinion based on how they look. Ive not researched it on the interwebs though.

I wouldn't assume Ted was the best man. It was implied that he was, but it could have just as easily been Marshal. It seems obvious that it was Ted because he reacted when Lilly called for the best man, but his reaction was to look at Marshal and ask "jeez, what now?" then they both went inside. They also mentioned a toast, but people other than the best man often give toasts at weddings. We've learned with this show that anything that is implied, no matter how strongly it's implied, should not be assumed to be true.

Also, Robin was clearly hot in the white dress. Robin was even hot in the first half of the episode when she wasn't supposed to be hot. And there are churches that are willing to marry lesbians.

she did look noticeably bigger up there, but also thought it was more from the recent pregger event vice getting filled in.
