How hot should I expect an Panaflo FBA08A12L with a Alpha PAL8045 on a ThunderBird 1.4? Ohh, and right now the Panaflo I find is a case fan, and for $10, anything cheaper/moresuited for this?

You should expect temps anywhere from -40 to 80 C.

In all seriousness, it is impossible to tell without knowing every single variable in this question. To answer your question with any amount of reliability, we would have to know your ambient temperature, motherboard, manufacturer, anyt and all devices you have in your system, what type of case you have, how many and what type of case fans you have, where you live, what your altitude is, etc etc.

Well, they're currently out of stock, but you can usually pick up the Panaflo L1A at BGMicro for under $3 each. Add a $1 Panaflo tail from PCMods, and you've got yourself a nice case/CPU fan for under $4.
