How hot is to hot for my CPU?

Last night I bought a new fan control, so I hooked up my zalman 7000a cu to it. Before on default settings with 2600rpms my CPU would idle at approx 42-46 Degrees, with my new fan control I set the RPMs to 1600 for less noise, and now it idles at 48-52 approx. is that too high of a temp for stock speeds? So far I have not noticed any stability problems, I just want to be safe.

1300C seriously, if it's failing prime 95 it's too hot.
