Mine's at 48C.. on the load.

How hot should it really go? is 48C on the chipset a safe temp, and will it cause instability? Thanks.
 
It really depends on the particular chipset. But anything under 55C is fine for the nForce 4 chipset, so you're fine.
 
Your instability is likely being caused by not enough vcore, assuming you're using the 12x cpu multiplier.
