21 Nov 07 Video of Obama saying he is uniquely qualified to bring stability to America's relationships in the Muslim world because he lived in an Islamic country during his youth and his half-sister is Muslim.

Video

Just wanted to share.

Where did he say that Muslim hostility will end and there will be no more war and unicorns will dance with dragons in Atlantis as it rises from the sea?

Not surprised by that pos disgusting excuse for a human being obama, he has only pandered to them and made the situation even worse. if innocent Christians had to die to appease them he would support the idea

You guys believe This guy is a highly educated. When he said he would bring change he never really said what kind of change . Yet he is highly educated?
In the video he points out how he spent much time in indonesia. He says he MAYBE CHRISTIAN rather than I am Christian . For this to be said by a man the left states is highly educated is as clear as the Change promise obummer made . It means MAYBE and thats all it means. Nothing more .

The only thing this thread is missing is some cool tags - OP - read some of Spidey's posts for tips on how to properly tag a desperation thread.

Like many other criticisms of Obama, can anyone cite specifically what Obama has done to bring about the current events?

Since even before I voted for him, I've hoped Obama was lying about being a Christian. Not that I hoped he was a Muslim instead, that'd be even worse. I hoped he was an atheist like his mother before him.

Turns out, it didn't really matter... he was a politician first and foremost, and a disappointment.

Not so much that I'd vote for Romney, who is basically the physical manifestation of greed. But enough of a disappointment to keep me from voting at all, for the first time in my life.

Der Spiegal quoting other German Newspapers:

"US President Barack Obama's Middle East policy is in ruins. Like no president before him, he tried to win over the Arab world. After some initial hesitation, he came out clearly on the side of the democratic revolutions. … In this context, he must accept the fact that he has snubbed old close allies such as Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian military. And now parts of the freed societies are turning against the country which helped bring them into being. Anti-Americanism in the Arab world has even increased to levels greater than in the Bush era. It's a bitter outcome for Obama."

or

""Four years ago, Obama pledged to seek reconciliation with the Muslim world. Now, it is doubtful whether he has succeeded. The US and its European allies now have to ask themselves how much support they still enjoy in the countries of the Arab Spring."

On the other hand, for people that want to believe that Obama is in charge but not responsible, the facts don't really matter do they?

That doesn't answer the question. Are you suggesting that people are in the streets because of what Obama has done?
