On a good 865 or 875 board, 3.6ghz on air using 240fsb. Anything over 240fsb, you may need to add more to the vcore.

My MB is the Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G which has a 865PE chipset. (is that good?)
I have already raised the vcore from 1.5250v to 1.5375v (this is just one step up in the bios)
CPU runs at 21 degrees, case is at 25 degrees, (I have a huge heat sink on the CPU, case is a cool master one)
Is there anything else I can do to increase clock speed & stability?

Thanks.

Thats a solid board. You should be able to oc to 3.60 or 3.75 range. check www.overclockers.com database to see what others have oc'ed their 3.0c.

only limitation would be the memory but you could easily do a 5:4 divider to oc cpu without having the memory becoming a bottleneck.

With your board,
go to Frequency/Voltage Control, and then go to Memory frequency.

Play around with the lowest 1.33 ratio. I think the other options are 1.5X and 2.0X.

Depends on the chip. I've seen some not even do 3.2ghz on default vcore. I've seen some hit 3.9ghz on default vcore.
