How high have you been able to overclock your AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton? If you have overclocked to 2.5GHZ plus then what motherboard and what cooling solution.

i can get mine to about 2.26ghz on my slk-800 with 1.8v
i'm sure it could get higher but i need to get a new psu first
also i don't like to go over 1.8v

most people that get anywhere over 2.4ghz use water cooling or some kind of super cooling

Mine can do 11.5 x 200 (2300) , but I usually run it at 11x200. Using a slk900a w/92mm tornado connected to a sunbean fan controller, I thought I'd get cute and try 11.5x220. It booted but things were a bit screwy. Backed it down to 11x200, and something still ain't right. Ole swami told me he sees a format in me near future.

I'm at 2.21GHz (220x10) on default voltage. I have gotten up to 2.37, but it wasn't stable.

2405mhz on 1.75V (in bios) 1.71 on MBM

with slk900U and a 92mm fan 48 idle 53 load

nice

i thought slk900u could do a better job than 53 load. my ax7 with panaflo 80mm L1A keep my 2500+ @2200 1.7v 40/47c.

but 2405 is some respectable speed.

Best I've done is 2.4ghz but it wasn't stable and thats w/ an SK-6+ w/ 50.2cfm 80mm fan and 1.75V, it was definitly getting too hot, if I got a better HSF and or a really high CFM fan I'm sure I could push it farther, my case temp seems stuck at 30C according to asus probe and under full load I top out at 51C Idle is normaly 42-43C and I normaly run at 11*200 for 2200mhz

Well, if it matters, my 2400+ has gone all the way up to 2.4Ghz... but wont be stable unless I use it at 2.35Ghz w/1.725 v. My FSB is 170Mhz, but if I up it to 180Mhz I have to lower my Mhz to 2.27.
