the only motherboard that would really be able to handle that ram would be the two DFI releases, the rest don't fair so well with FSB bumps. don't get your hopes up.

I posted this elsewhere, but you guys seem to be on my track. I have been running a AMD Athlon 2400+ mobile at 2500mhz (12.5X200) with good results on a GA-7nA400 Pro2 . I have been using GEIL golden dragon ram for this with no problems. I just got in on the Kingston HyperX PC4000 and thought I would lower the multi and up the FSB to keep the same overclock. The problem comes in when I can't get the Kingston over 208. What gives? And I am NOT using the GEIL, just the HyperX. It has been suggested that my MOBO does not like the extra FSB, but I do not want to believe this.

Anysuggestions?

Thanks Dirk

i can assure you from personal* experience, its your motherboard. i originally had an Asus motherboard with this same CPU,RAM, and PS. I could not push anything past 200 at all. as soon as i dumped all the hardware into this DFI lanparty i could push the ram to its limits.

I got a dfi lan party from the world go, on a hunch. I have to say teh bottleneck in my pc is the corsair pc3200 xms. I have seen 245x9 with like 1.8v.
