It's still a silly question either way. I'm sure there's people here that can pull the conversion out of their ass, but that's a job for the Googles, or a unit conversion program.

An ounce of silver is heavier than an ounce of feathers, but a pound of feathers is heavier than a pound of silver. Not everyone knows this.

The other way around. A pound of feathers would likely exist in a higher altitude results in lower gravitational pull towards the Earth and thus would weigh significantly less than a pound of silver, which would be on the Ground, unless it's in an airplane.

Not true. A feathers natural state is on the clothing of a stripper and even with the clear acrylic platform shoes and a nice sturdy pole the average stripper simply can't gain sufficient altitude to offset the pull of gravity. Unless we're talking about strippers in Nepal or something like that, but seriously, who wants to see strippers while drinking fermented yak milk?

We will need to commission the US FDA for a study on the number of feathers that exist naturally on birds versus feathers used by human strippers. Though I suspect the existence of domesticated Chickens may disprove my theory. This is probably the only way to answer this question, of which the OP should be thinking about as well.

A very good point. I would support a Scientific study on this issue.
