I shingled my father- inlaw's roof one time - he was pretty happy about that.

I don't think that I have done anything really special that made a difference in the life of someone else. My parents always taught the old saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". This usually works well for me, though its easier said than done.

911Paramedic -- Now that was something special that made a difference in somebody's life! That family will always remember what you and the others did for their daughter. This type of work and others like it take a special kind of person and thankfully for the rest of us there are people like yourself willing and wanting to do it.

I'm never sure exactly what impact I've had on other people.

I've been told compliments, thanks, etc... but I never remember it. I tend to be self-effacing and self-deprecating, plus I have a short attention span.. whatever I do, I eventually forget about.

I'm sure I've done good stuff... just nothing I ever consciously remember.

I think everybody has had an impact on someone.

Even if it's just something as simple as the person you smiled at on the way to work thismorning. You never know how that could change that persons day. :)

We all know that we changed our parents' lives when we were born. ;)

Edit: Oh. I thought it was asking if you have made any difference in someones life, lol.

Well. My girlfriend, I suppose. For both of us, really. I can't imagine not meeting her now. :)

Dont know about any differences I make, but I wouldnt be alive today if it werent for a few special friends of mine.

Oh yeah, theres a small thing. Theres a homeless guy near where I work, so I sometimes buy him lunch, and he talks to me for a few minutes etc. Its nice to do something small for someone.

I've donated lots of toys to poor kids and have tutored/mentored poor kids at 5 different jobs/volunteer places.

Hmm...the most I've done in terms of saving someone's life directly came as a freshman in high school when I met a girl who talked like she was going to kill herself who I probably wouldn't have "hung out with" under normal circumstances but knew it was important I did something...All I knew to do was get her number and must have spent hours on the phone with her talking about nothing in particular and also about not killing yourself...anyhow, I switched schools after that year and didn't see her again until a couple years ago when I ran into her somewhere...she told me she almost definitely would have done herself in if i hadn't stepped in...and she was super hot! :Q

I'm happy to say I believe I've done enough to make a difference in people's lives. I used to tutor kids having problems at home for about 2 years. I don't know if it was because of me but their grades did increase. I've given some money to organizations like UNICEF. Other than that I think I've impacted alot of my friends and family in both positive and unfortunately sometimes in negative ways. All in all I am happy with what I have accomplished so far and hopefully I will be happy with what I will accomplish in the future.
