How hard it is really to put on the Alpha PAL8045T?

It's not really that hard at all. It is more work than your basic typical Heatsink clip but the Alpha Pal8045 is pretty simple and shouldn't be a problem. It took me a little over 5 minutes to install.

Yeah, it's really easy to put on. It's a bit irritating that you have to take the mobo out of the case, but it's easier to install the hsf when the mobo is ouside the case anyway (also with the clips on the zif-socket).
The way with fastining it with the screws instead of a clip also reduces the chance of crushing the core when placing the hsf as there will be an even pressure applied.

Pretty simple, I prefer it over installing other heatsinks because it's nearly impossible to crush the core. Plus, it gives good cooling and manages to stay quiet.

Make sure you check to see if your motherboard supports it. I don't have a link off hand, but it didn't fit my FIC AD11. I had to dremel the thing and break off three of the fins to get the capacitors to fit.

Other than that, it isn't too bad to get on, unless your case is a mess like mine.
