How hard is it to sell a used manual sedan?

I have a 96 Nissan Maxima 5 speed with 110K miles. Many people have told me that it will be very hard to sell a manual sedan let alone a Maxima with that many miles. I imagine the dealer would rape me in a trade in, which leaves me with selling the car privetely or driving it to the ground.

As an ex- Nissan salesman it is not hard to sell a manual Maxima especially if it is an SE. You just have to do it to a younger crowd (or the my wife just left me crowd) which depending on your location could present a problem.

Pretty easy to sell a 5MT 4th gen.

Would have been easier if it was a 97 - but I am sure there is a lot of demand for the 5MT 96'

I think it would probably be easier to sell the 5MT 96' than a 4AT 96'

check out maxima.org - I bet there are tons of buyers there

well put lol

A 5 speed is every bit as attractive as an auto. It's just attractive to different people. Put 5 speed in the ad so the people who want it can tell it's there, and you will get a good , qualified response.
