Pretty simple, actually - just connecting the hardware and configuring tcp/ip to the settings they give you. However, putting in the frequency splitter properly, and running the line to a wall jack near your computer, could turn into a problem. The frequency splitter is generally installed when the DSL line is put in, and if it's put in correctly you'd only have the problem of running a continuous ethernet cable to the wall jack near your computer. To avoid signal degradation you don't want any other connectors or junction boxes between the frequency splitter and the wall jack.
