Well if you speak English, wouldn't u find it easier to learn how to learn Latin since much of English is derived from that? Considering that, wouldn't it be easier to learn Latin compared to say Japanese?

i believe what you are reffering to farsi specifically, arabic is the notion of a conglermation of many different dialects that are spoken throughout the middle east

Nope. I've had lessons in German (1 yr.), French(8 yr.), Japanese(2 yr.), Korean (6 mo.), and Spanish (6 mo.). While knowing english certainly made German, French, and Spanish easier, in the end it really comes down to will. Vocabulary is a b**** to learn in any language, no matter how close to english, and grammar is all about modes of thinking, and doesn't really seem as set as we would like to believe.

Only 3 things yo need to know in any language

1. Where is the bathroom?
2. Can I have another beer?
3. What will you do for $20 American dollars?

tonnes... you speak three international languages and you're worth gold to most multinational companies... a friend of mine speaks seven (!!!) and works as a project manager .. can you imagine his value to a company that works in 40 countries????

Kind of right, I guess. It has some strange sounds for some of the alphabet.

I took one semester of Arabic in college. It was probalby the toughest class that I had ever taken as an undergraduate. However, the teacher was absolutely horrible and all but a few students in the class already knew how to write in Arabic or speak it. I didn't take it very seriously either since I put Pass/Fail status on the class.

I had a pretty tough time writing/reading Arabic, too. However, I suppose if you actually cared about learning it then you could do pretty well. There were actually some students who made a lot of progress in it.

Arabic is the easiet language to learn.

No seriously, setaside my funny posts.

My M Tounge is Urdu so for me i can write and read Arabic. Speaking ofcourse requires to understand the words.

Confused? how i can read it and not understand it!!! every muslims whose M Tongue is not Arabic is likely to only read and write Arabic but not Speak it.

Although, when i took Arabic in my school days, it was fairly easy for me.

But for you guys, Its going to take a long time just to get the pronounciations correct.

and also, forget about getting secret Governments jobs, there will be plenty more waitng for you.

Instead learn the Hardest language of all, consisting of more than 24 Alphabets, Plus a dictionary size almost 2X that of English. You'll be able to use it in the Sub-Continent which includes India and Paskistan.
